iPhone Love // Brazil 2013

I'm so thankful to have an iPhone. I think Apple makes the best products and the iPhone 5 happens to be one of them. (The 5C and 5S are launching this Friday!)

Anyway, I love my iPhone especially because of the camera---great quality. I don't particularly think it's on the same quality level of my Canon Rebel, and definitely not my dream camera the Canon 5D Mark III [mentioned here in case anyone wants to buy me a really expensive gift one day....just kidding...maybe].
Nonetheless, the iPhone 5 camera is great for every day pictures. In my opinion, it's the perfect point and shoot camera. I took a lot of pictures with my iPhone when I was in Brazil and they are posted here. :)  I edited some of them in Lightroom and some of them I left untouched.

BRAZIL 2013 | iPhone Edition

Thankfully we fly United, where my dad works. He was actually working our flight the 5 times we tried flying. There he is!

This was one of the days there was no room for us on the flight. We had to wait for my dad to finish working so we could all go home together. This took a few hours & we were all pretty tired.

There's my daddy again on another day! He's so cute.

My grandpa can't walk for very long, so my grandma was finding him a place to sit while we waited for my dad to come up with the car.

We didn't make it on the flight this day either.

Yay! Finally made it to Sao Paulo. This is the bus we took to Campinas. This bus is in honor of  my girl Ju Lira...maybe she'll be on the blog soon? ;)

This is our friend Claudia Franca who just so happened to arrive in Brazil the same day and going to travel on the same bus as us.
You can read more about this encounter and other crazy ones here.

SWING HOUSE!

This was a crazy experience. Luana is our friend from America. She was in Brazil with her husband and met up with us at Tio Silvio's church. A few days later, my mom and I were going out with my grandma and she was taking really long to leave. Normally, we just all get inside the car and leave from the garage. Instead, my mom said she was just gonna wait out front on the porch (see above picture). I figured I would go wait there with her and as soon as we got there a read car passed by and then reversed. It was none other than Luana and her husband passing by the exact street of the Swing house. They live about 2 hours away but were coming to town for business. It's a small town but I think it's crazy that out of all the streets, they passed by ours at the exact moment we walked outside! So cool.

We went looking for a place to do our nails. The only person who answered us at this salon was this dog.

I guess everyone was off that day?

MARIA LUZIA!!  I miss her so much. Danny had just gotten a hair cut and they went to the bakery together to get some snacks. Also, Danny's left leg looks so funny here.

I mentioned this quote in a previous post. "The greatest journeys begins with small steps"

I love this girl.

Dinner at my grandma's uncle's house. This is where Princesa lives.

"We have to take a picture of you driving" -Mom
It was a huge fear of mine to drive in Brazil---especially in Rio!
Thankfully, I was able to conquer this fear in MG and also RJ.

My view while we ate again. I took the same picture with my camera but only the bottom right was in the frame.
